How to Find Clarity Amidst the Noise
These days, it feels like the world is constantly throwing new stressors at us. It’s hard not to get swept up in the whirlwind of it all. I don’t know about you, but when I find myself caught in the storm of daily changes, my mind starts racing: What’s next? What should I focus on? Am I doing the right thing? Should I be worried about this too? It’s easy to spiral, second-guessing myself, and before I know it, I’m wide awake in bed, my mind spinning a mile a minute.
Even though I rely on powerful stress relief tools like exercise, deep breathing, cold plunges, and nourishing my body with whole foods—each of which helps me reset and refocus—there are still times when the overwhelm gets the best of me. And I know I’m not alone in this feeling. Life is unpredictable, and it’s easy to feel like we’re constantly adjusting to changes that seem out of our control.
Yesterday, I had one of those moments. Lying in bed, my mind racing, I stumbled upon a Facebook post with live podcast recording by Martha Beck, one of the best life coaches here in the U.S. The questions in her post caught my attention: “What am I supposed to be doing? Where is my attention supposed to be? How do I rest my heart?”
I clicked on it, and as I listened to her words and followed the meditation she guided, I felt an immediate sense of calm. It was as if the universe handed me exactly what I needed in that moment. I couldn’t help but cry, it was so powerful. I felt grounded again.
That’s why I want to share this episode with you, dear Friend. If you ever find yourself caught up in that spinning feeling—feeling unsure or overwhelmed—I hope this episode and meditation can bring you some peace and clarity, just like it did for me.

And here’s something I remind myself when life feels chaotic: It’s okay not to have all the answers right away. Sometimes, the key is to pause, breathe, and trust that clarity will come when we need it. When I’m overwhelmed, taking one small step toward what I can control often helps me break free from the spiral.
That’s what I help my clients do as well. I guide them through taking small, manageable steps when things feel overwhelming—one shift at a time. We don’t need to fix everything in one go. Through patience and intentional actions, we can regain our center and move forward with more clarity and confidence.
So, if you’re feeling like you’re in a whirlwind right now, know that it’s okay to take a breather. You don’t have to have all the answers today. And when you’re ready, those answers will come.
With love,
Khalida
